Happy new year everyone! What a whirlwind these last few weeks have been! As the year winds down, I love to look back on what I accomplished as well as make new goals for myself for the new year. I have lots of ideas & dreams for myself for this year. I have a few big things happening for Full of Joy Yoga which I’ll share soon! De-Stress your Family with Yoga & Mindfulness During the Holidays!
This time of year is a bit nutty for everyone. Whether you celebrate the holidays or not, its just a super busy time. For those who celebrate holidays with gift giving, it’s just an extra added stress. We have been feeling it big time over here in our house. I have been using a few really sweet de-stressing tools with the kids these last few weeks and wanted to share. 5 Awesome Ways to De-Stress Your Family During the Holidays! 1) Focus Jars (aka- calming down bottles & glitter jars)– These bottles are so much fun to make and even more fun to use. Spooky Haunted House Yoga
This is one of my absolute favorite classes to teach. I hear from kids throughout the year – “Can we go to the spooky haunted house today?” I laugh because I do this class for Halloween and not again throughout the year. I could do it but I think saving it for this month makes it more special. I teach this class to mostly 3-5 yr olds so this is geared towards that age group. It can definitely be done with K-3 as well! Those kids LOVE the scariness and get really into it. I make it way less spooky for 3 yr olds, but take it up a notch as they get older.
