Ah, can you hear the birds chirping with happiness? We can finally see the flowers popping up through the grass. It’s been positively delightful out there these last few days. This weather has inspired me to teach my Spring Garden yoga class where we plant a garden in the middle of our circle. Spring has Sprung! (an ode to Earth Day)
Spring is finally in the air – a few times a week at least! We are having sunny days and loads of rainy days. But we love the rainy days because we all know its great for the flowers and our gardens! I love using these flowers I got from Target ($1 each) with my spring yoga class. We dig some holes in the earth, moving out the way the weeds, rocks, sticks and anything else the kids come up with to shovel out from the soil. Then we make ourselves so tiny in our child’s pose as we plant ourselves into the ground. I cover the seeds with soil, water and our sunshine’s in order for our seeds to grow. Then slowly, our seeds grow up into our beautiful flowers. Lots of creatures find themselves hopping, slithering and flying through our garden.
