I have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years now. I started when I moved to Boston from Miami (where I went to college) and was trying desperately as a  20-something to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I was waiting tables and teaching in a preschool and was a little bit lost. One of the moms of my students was a yoga teacher and told me I should come take a class with her. My life was changed!  I did Rodney Yee videos, took classes when I could and started to transform my life as I knew it. Yoga got me through graduate school and when I became a first grade teacher in Coney Island in Brooklyn, it was then I realized how much kids just connected with yoga.
