The Mindful Yoga Breaks Card Deck®
Price range: $16.95 through $27.95
This card deck contains breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, and teacher tools. This deck no longer has the Superhero Breath cards, you can buy that deck separately here. Or you can purchase both decks as our Wise Owl bundle here.
Each of the 31 cards in this set has a photo and a description of a breathing exercise or mindfulness activity to do with your students or children. They are a part of The Mindful Yoga Breaks curriculum—which teachers can use to help their students self-regulate, focus, and learn to use their “Wise Owl Brain”—but the cards also stand alone as a powerful tool to teach breathing and mindfulness to any child. Each deck comes on a book ring.
Companions to the cards include the Anchor Breaths poster.

thank you Amy! I so appreciate this review! I can’t wait to hear how they work in your classes.

The mindful yoga cards have been a wonderful addition to our classroom. I teach children with special needs, and each day a child gets to pick the cards for the day. They help my students calm down and become focused. Thank you for making these wonderful cards.

I am a parent, not a teacher, and have found these cards really useful! They are really cute and easy to follow, and my 3-year-old responds really well to the various calming breaths. We do some breaths before bed most nights and as he’s coming down from tantrums/meltdowns. I love that I’m teaching him such an important tool that he’ll be able to draw from for life. Highly recommended!

Love. Love. Love. The lessons and step by step instructions on the back of each card are just so clear and user friendly. I am so happy I took the chance and purchased them. I can’t wait to incorporate them into my classroom routine!

These cards are cute, artistic, and perfect for home use or in a class. I haven’t gotten to use mine with my class kids yet, but I can’t wait!

From the first time I used these cards with my elementary class they were hooked! They loved how calm and relaxed they felt after one exercise and they constantly ask for more! They have been learning about yoga through our physical education program and I am thrilled that I now have a great tool that I can use to carry that learning over into our daily classroom routines. It is my hope that these exercises will become tools they will use throughout their lives both in and out of school.

I absolutely love these Mindful Yoga Breaks cards! They belong in the hands of every teacher everywhere. I love the design of the cards – the pictures of the children are adorable and the cards are easy to carry around and utilize with the children. The explanation of the “bull dog brain” and “wise owl brain” are such an effective way to talk to children about the different parts of their brain. Understanding how their brains work and then giving them the tools to be able to calm their minds is a gift for life. The breath cards are broken down into “calming breaths” and “focusing breaths,” which is incredibly helpful for parents and teachers. I’m excited to add these mindful yoga cards to our “Calm Down Corner” at home. Such a fantastic tool that I highly recommend to parents and teachers!
