There are some disappointments in life, some really HUGE ones, that are tragic and trauma filled. Then there are others that are just part of life, that feel so unfair and are not fun and are just pure and simple, really disappointing. How do you handle disappointment? Do you crawl up in a ball and not get out of bed? Or do you feel it deeply and turn those lemons into lemonade? There are so many ways to handle the ups and downs of life. Loving the Leaf – A Fall Lesson Plan
The transition from summer to fall has a lot of personal emotion attached to it BUT it’s hard to deny the natural beauty around us here in the Northeast. As October turns to November the leaves are colorful and gorgeous, and our sidewalks are covered in these leaves. The weather gets crisp and cool but warm still from the sun, it’s really hard not to love it. I go into it with hesitation, but when it’s in full swing, I fully embrace it. Maybe it’s because the early fall symbolizes the loss of our first child Silas, while the late fall symbolizes the birth of our son Zephyr.
